Aaron Dorr

Aaron Dorr is a political activist with twelve years of experience fighting for the Second Amendment in state legislatures including Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Wyoming, New York and more.

In his time working for political non-profits, Aaron has amassed tremendous experience in direct response fundraising, grassroots lobbying, legislative management, political copywriting, social media marketing/mobilization techniques that actually work, and election programs.

Working with the Missouri Firearms Coalition, Aaron ran a statewide grassroots lobbying effort that led to the passage of Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground legislation in Missouri, in 2016.

This included the successful override of then-Governor Jay Nixon’s veto, which cemented the passage of the largest gun bill in Missouri history.

In 2016, Aaron designed and implemented a massive election program for Iowa Gun Owners as they worked to expose anti-gun incumbents in the State Senate who had been blocking gun bills for years.

This program consisted of direct mail, social media, TV and radio ads, door-to-door efforts and more, resulting in the defeat of every single anti-gun incumbent, and the flip of the Iowa Senate.

In 2017, following up on the election success that gun owners achieved in 2016, Aaron ran a massive grassroots lobby program for Iowa Gun Owners that resulted in the passage of Stand-Your-Ground law in Iowa — ending a 6-year fight.

In 2018, Aaron built of off his success at passing Stand-Your-Ground law in Missouri and Iowa by drafting the nation’s leading Stand-Your-Ground legislation on behalf of Wyoming Gun Owners (WYGO,) for introduction in their 2018 legislative session.

Aaron ran WYGO’s incredibly successful ground game throughout the 2018 session which included direct lobbying/committee testimony, grassroots lobbying, and the organization’s grassroots mobilization program which consisted of mail, digital ads, radio ads, and more — leading to the passage of what has been called the best Stand-Your-Ground law in America.

Combined, Aaron’s efforts to expose anti-gun legislators and educate gun owners have seen over three dozen anti-gun incumbents removed from office in the states that he works in, and a complete reshaping of the political environment in his home state of Iowa.

A master copy writer, Aaron has designed and implemented direct response fundraising strategies that have raised millions of dollars for non-profit conservative organizations — enabling these organizations to be successful in the public policy arena.

Ben Dorr

Ben Dorr serves on the Board of Directors for the American Firearms Coalition and is a political activist with over 10 years of experience ranging from local to statewide electoral politics and focusing on legislative action through the power of mobilized grassroots gun owners.

In 2015, Ben and his wife moved to Minnesota to head up operations as the the Political Director for Minnesota Gun Rights, fighting in the state legislature to stop radical gun control and advance pro-gun legislation, in a time when gun owners were being stabbed in the back by local “pro-gun” organizations.

Over the last several years Ben has been extremely active in Minnesota politics, working with gun owners to stop city-wide gun bans in places like Savage and Bloomington, organizing pro-gun rallies with thousands of gun owners and putting pressure on the legislature to stand and fight for the Second Amendment.

Under Ben’s leadership, Minnesota Gun Rights turned into a massive fighting force in state politics with their members and supporters stopping EVERY Bloomberg backed gun-control bill in the Minnesota Legislature and booting out many Bloomberg endorsed candidates at election time, flipping the Minnesota Senate Majority in 2016.

In 2018, Ben coordinated efforts in nearby Wisconsin and now directs operations for the Wisconsin Firearms Coalition, assisting in their efforts to stop Red Flag Gun Seizures in Madison.

Ben has also consulted on messaging and communication with Ohio Gun Owners, the Missouri Firearms Coalition, Iowa Gun Owners and Wyoming Gun Owners, assisting in the passage of Stand-Your-Ground law in MO, IA and WY.

Ben is proud to fight tooth and nail alongside his brothers, gun owners in Minnesota and across America in an uncompromising battle to defend and advance our God-given Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

Ben, his wife Anna and their two boys reside in Northfield, MN and he loves history on the birth of America, gun rights, hunting and feels right at home behind the sticks of a Case 580 Super N backhoe.
